> Today was a good day to see Western Meadowlarks in the Snoqualmie Valley. The snow knocked down the vegetation and provided an excellent background for seeing the meadowlarks. Karen and I saw them in the field northwest of the bridge across Sikes Lake. This is the field across the road from the farm with all of the white fences. We also saw them in a field west of West Snoqualmie River Road. N.E. The road names in the valley can be confusing. If you have navigation software, just put in Herbco International Duvall. That will get you on the correct road. Otherwise turn north off Woodinville-Duvall Road just before you cross the bridge into Duvall.
