Hello All,

We along with Jim and Sue Parrish chummed in gulls at the Walla Walla
River delta this afternoon. We had a large number of gulls come in over
the vast ice sheet. Species seen were regular until an adult Lesser
Black-backed Gull came in-well photographed by MerryLynn and Jim
Parrish. Also present way out on the ice sheet were several other nice
finds-1 second winter Glaucous Gull and an adult Thayers Gull. Also this
afternoon we observed the first geese returning from the south-Snow
geese, whit-fronts, Cacklers and Canadas. Also located the first
blooming Salt and Pepper Lomatium this afternoon in Wallula Gap-the snow
has been off there for about 36 hours.
