Every night for the last 6 nights a Great horned owl has called from our stand of Doug Firs between 8 and 9:00p.m. No replies heard so far. And In the middle of the day Saturday, an owl (same one, most likely) sat and called while several hundred, possibly 1000+ crows harassed and dive bombed for a good half hour until they finally succeeded in driving him off. So nice to hear that beautiful hooting again.
