Happy New Year! I was thrilled to have a Pileated Woodpecker at my feeder this morning. I haven?t seen one in my yard for quite a long spell.
Stellar's? Jays, Chestnut Backed Chickadee?s, Black-Capped Chickadee?s and American Crows were all within sight and sound. The Anna?s Hummingbirds were buzzing, chortling and zipping around near the feeder dutifully protecting their food source.
It?s a great start to the year.
