Hello Tweets,

Today Josh Glant, Adrian Lee and I headed out from Carnation up to Monroe
and over to Magnuson Park. Fog was a big issue throughout the morning.
Owling in the morning was fairly successful with Saw whet at Carnation
Marsh, Stillwater and Sikes. We also had barn and Great Horned at other
locations in the valley. Here are highlights from the rest of the day.

American Pipit - 2 at Sikes Lake
White-throated Sparrow - One tan stripe at Tualco Loop
Redhead - Continuing at Log Boom Park
Ruddy Duck - 4 at Log Boom
Eurasian Wigeon - 3 males at Matthews Beach park
Bohemian Waxwing - At least 4 seen at trees near dog park

Again duck numbers in the valley were fairly low with barely any flooded
fields and Monroe Prison Ponds completely devoid of any water. Hope
everyone else had a great New Years day!
