I did a quick informal poll re the question, "Where have all the Varied
Thrush gone?" About 30 members (so far) of Western Washington Birders
responded with sightings:

I also asked this morning at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, where I bird
regularly. I haven't seen or heard any Varied Thrush there yet this
winter, but a staff member said he started seeing one or two in
mid-November.
