After Eric and my posts from this morning there was still some doubt about the eider at the Purdy spit. The photos that we had from Eric Heisley and Laurel Parshall were still at a distance. Thanks to the wonderful photos on ebird from Meghin Spencer this afternoon, there should be no doubt that this is a Common Eider.
