> Audubon Society, in collaboration with The Cherry Point Aquatic Reserve
> Citizenship Committee and RE-Sources will again be offering classes to show
> you how to identify marine birds. We will go over the key physical
> features of more than 30 species, their behavior, and other interesting
> facts about their life histories. We have been conducting surveys of
> marine birds for several years as an offshoot of earlier Salish Sea-wide
> surveys (Marine Ecosystem Analysis 1978-1979 and the WWU/John Bower Marine
> Bird Census 2003-2005). These classes are meant to increase awareness of
> these birds and the reasons we have been monitoring them. This class will
