Subject: recent birding trip to Cuba

A group of 6 recently concluded a 11 day birding trip in Cuba. I organized
the trip and hired a local expert guide to drive us and locate the Cuban
endemic and other species of interest. We traveled about 2/3 of the
country, west and east of Havana. We saw 38 of the 39 species that are
endemic to Cuba or to the region that were present on the island at this
time of year, missing only the Zapata Rail (notoriously hard to see).

If you wish information about the birds, our trip detals or about travel
from the US to Cuba, please contact me offline at 41cdcook at gmail.com..
