Winter at Lake Padden is especially good for waterfowl. Some of the typical
ducks to be found are American wigeon, canvasback, scaup, ruddy ducks and
bufflehead. In the past two years we have also had Eurasian wigeon.
Passerine species will also be present. This is an easy walk and a great
trip for beginners. Bring a scope if you have one.
