As of 11;00 AM today, the Black Phoebe found by Will Brooks and directions
from Bruce LaBar, was still in the same location at Gog-le-hi-te wetlands
in Tacoma. An immature Cooper's Hawk had landed in brush next to the pond,
but as soon as the hawk left, the Black Phoebe started hunting for insects
over the water. It was particularly fond of a stick in the water. Thanks
for posting Will and Bruce!
Good Birding!
