- Comments: "Female in alternative plumage. We observed in 3 different
lakes due the fact she was very skittish but we got great looks. Very white
chin and throat. White spot on the lore and dark crown. Black bill and
brown stripe on the cheek. Not much bigger than the Greater Yellowlegs it
was with. When it flew, the speculum had an orange stripe followed by a
green that gradually darkens. Many photos before on land, water and flying."
