Just a heads-up as Shorebird Fest starts tomorrow. There were 60 Red Knots off of the first bend in the Sandpiper Trail boardwalk loop, and another 30 off the end. From morning high tide for at least a half hour as tide went out. In close but very foggy morning lead to short periods of view.
