Hi Tweeters -
Today amidst a day of birding on Whidbey Island in excellent weather, the highlight bird was an American Golden-Plover in just about full breeding plumage. It was towards the south end of the lake, but later flew towards the beach.

Whimbrel - at least 11 at Deer Lagoon
Chipping Sparrow - parking lot at Pacific Rim Institute
Sora and Virginia Rail out in the open at the southern pond at Ewing Marsh
