Hello Tweets,
Last night I stepped outside after dusk and heard a whit call from a
seasonal stream next to my home. I was wary of being fooled by a Song
Sparrow, which I hear giving a similar whit call year around, but a few
whit immatations produced a Swainson's Thrush out of hiding. This morning I
walked around a bit and found at least three hanging around. One was
warming up his song a bit, but I think it'll still be a bit before they're
singing much.

Lots of other migrants arriving. Sunday brought my FOY Bullock's Oriole. I
had a silent Western Wood-Peewee on 5/5, trying my earliest record for the
county.
