The Long-billed Curlew found yesterday just south of Sumner was still there
just before 1pm, feeding in the field off Bowman-hilton rd. It was about
50ft from the road, which means I got excellent views, and didn't seem
bothered by the mowing going on right behind it! Also, this sighting marked
my 200th Pierce County bird!
