Dennis and Tweeters,
Here at my place in Roy, I've had 30-50 siskins for about a month. I'm going through about 7 lbs of thistle (niger) every 4-5 days, and just put up another thistle feeder yesterday to take up the load. (And the seven black oilseed feeders get filled every other third day. Lots of goldfinches and Purple Finches, too.)

As an added note: Have Evening Grosbeaks here, too - may have a nest nearby.

May all your birds be identified,
Denis DeSilvis

Subject: [Tweeters] Pine Siskin in Seattle

Hello, tweets.

I have a Pine Siskin at a tube feeder in my yard right now, first one I have seen in over a year. They seem to have been scarce in or absent from the area this last winter, so I?m glad to see one again. Are they all over the place now?
