Hi tweeters!
I'm on a pectoral sandpiper at Marymoor right now. It's in the mud on the close side of the slough next to a killdeer, giving great looks. Brown, tawny sandpiper, smaller than Killdeers, larger than a peep, yellow legs, sharp cut off where the steaks on the breast end, downcurved yellow and dark beak, lighter eyebrow, white eyering, called when it flushed once before landing again.
Awesome bird!
Good birding!
