I have seen them at least 3 times at the mouth of the Elwah River, Olympic Peninsula, Washington.

Great pic. Yes,GCRF is a regular breeder in the WA Cascades and Olympics, and a relatively common site for we climbers and ski tourists. It's not uncommon to see flocks of 30 or more in the alpine zone, although I've never seen one below subalpine.

I believe this is the first record for Edmonds. Although GCRF is
presumably a regular breeder in remote, high-altitude parts of the
county, it is not detected every year.
