Hi Tweeters,

I uploaded the recording (very poor one) to xenon-cantu mystery bird section.

If anyone has the time or inclination, would appreciate any feedback. Owl? Band-tailed pigeon? This was recorded from 2nd story of house with chainsaws etc on the recording in Phinney Ridge off of Phinney Ave between N 65th and the zoo (I think that is the general location from which it was calling).

Here is the link:

>Working in my home office an owl started to call around midday, at least I think it is an owl, or dove. I recorded the sounds and wonder if anyone might be interested in deciphering the recording. The recording needs editing as there is background noise and the calls are faint. Otherwise, does anyone know of a good resource for owl calls? xeno-cantu?
