Subject: [Tweeters] Tropical Kingbird and Palm Warbler

On a tip from Suzy Whittey, I went across the river to the Chinook
Valley, Pacific Co., WA looking for a TROPICAL KINGBIRD she report
yesterday near Walberg Rd on Chinook Valley Rd. I found it on the
second try flycatching from the chimney of a house.

I also went out on the North Jetty hoping for stray seabirds left
over from the storm on Sunday (probably should have gone yesterday).
Not much sea action, but I flushed a PALM WARBLER from the restored
area near the jetty parking lot. The road to the parking lot is now
closed to vehicles, so plan on walking if you chase it.
