I was just enjoying an uncommon site here, Band-tailed Pigeons! I saw a
couple nearby a couple days ago, and today noticed there were several in a
large madrone tree, eating the berries! These trees are wonderful for
attracting birds. There are usually Cedar Waxwings about too.

I think there were about a dozen pigeons in trees on the southern edge of
Camp Long.
