Bruce Labar's HARRIS'S SPARROW was right where he said it would be this morning. It took me an hour to find it. It was with a small group of GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS.

Also, the ongoing Dash Point Pier FRANKLIN'S GULL was still there at 8:00 this morning, flying over the dock.

Found a first winter Harris?s Sparrow this morning in Tacoma. Directions:
Head for Marine View drive. Turn left on 11 street toward a bridge that takes you to Taylor street. Just before the bridge is a dirt , pot holed parking area. Park, and go through a good number of sparrows and finches.
