Another? safe route is to walk the one mile (per the railroad's track side mile markers) beach from the Edmonds off-leash dog park south to Pt. Wells.? Parking should start to free up at adjacent Marina Beach now that school is back in session for many districts.?

Do watch the tide.? You should plan your trek around the tide using the tide tables.?

>From the dog park I have photographed eagles perched on the light stands at the Pt. Wells tank farm using my 500mm telephoto lens.? An eagle, of course, is much larger than a gull and is not hidden within a flock of other birds. ?
