The swallow-tailed gull stayed at the same? spot on the breakwater of the Edmonds Marina opposite the fishing pier until 6:30pm.? At that time it took off, made a circle over the water, and flew back to the breakwater.?? It remained on the breakwater for a minute, then took off and landed in the water not far off the breakwater where it began dipping its head in and out of the water.? It looked as though it was bathing, drinking, hunting, or all three.
