I have never paid much attention to the band-tailed pigeons in my next door neighbor's tree because they are hard to photograph and it seems they are always there. I'll try to pay more attention to their comings and goings now that I know they may be an exception by remaining in the area year round.
I know they were there in March because I saw them.
