Hello all,

On this another very windy day we ventured out to see what we could find
- our first year bird was a beautiful SWAINSON'S HAWK before Touchet.
Saw a total of 3 today - another 2 were reported on Byrnes Road later.

At the Walla Walla River delta were 2 BLACK-NECKED STILTS and 1 AMERICAN
AVOCET. At the Millet Pond to the east was an early SOLITARY SANDPIPER.

Snow Geese are still around with over 200 at Casey Pond - Greater
White-fronted Geese in greater numbers - at least 300 there and another
200 at Burbank Slough.

SWALLOWS were abundant today - with hundreds of TREE and VIOLET-GREENS
everywere. At east Burbank Slough (east end of Humorist Rd) - swallows
were in swarms over the cattails - well over a thousand at one time -
including our first ROUGH-WINGED and BARN Swallows of the year.

So spring is here but the mountains are VERY white today -
