So we're always good for a Varied Thrush here and there over winter,
especially when it's colder. Some occasionally calling, others more
furtive.
This year, I've noticed a few calling pretty much all day long, presumably
territorial/calling for courtship and such. This more conspicuous presence
in general, not to mention this late into the year strikes me as unusual.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this or similar impressions?
