Ah yes, starlings can annoy the heck out of us, not just because they're
invasive, but because they can make us think we've just found an unexpected
bird when...well, we didn't! Just a couple weeks ago I heard a Western
Wood-pewee at Billy Frank Jr Nisqually NWR. I got excited, thinking I found
a very early bird, only to realize it was a starling...
