It was a surprise to hear two barred owls calling at 1:30 in the afternoon
in the Enumclaw area around the SE 376th St and 165th Ave SE neighborhood
just north of the Auburn-Enumclaw Hwy (Hwy 164). Date was April 15th. They
were really vocal for more than 20 minutes. Nice to hear.
