We had our first of the year NASHVILLE WARBLERS at our place east of Washougal, all four of the birds were seen over the day in the same Red-flowering Currant bush. I always expect warblers to show up here when the Red Alder leaves are larger than a quarter, it must take about that much growth to start producing caterpillars for the warblers to feed on.
