I've had a male Western Tanager coming to my suet feeder this morning in
West Seattle. It doesn't get more than a few moments before crows, jays or
Band-tailed Pigeons decide they want some too and scare it off.
I had one come this week last year as well and then had somewhat of a
migrant fallout of them with 30 or more in early May.
