Passing along a 2nd hand note from the NE corner of the state on access hours for the Colville STP -; if you are in the area, this can be a great spot to see large number of shorebirds in migration.

"In order to help facilitate birders, the Colville STP is now open M-F from 7a to 3p. The gate will remain unlocked during that time

This way birders will know when it is open. It's a new thing the STP is doing to accommodate birders."
