Last week, spent a few days on the coast and had some good luck with shorebirds which are now arriving. For a change, I managed to time a visit to Bottle Beach correctly and spent close to an hour watching a nice collection of birds and their antics as the tide came in. As this was mid-week, I was the only birder in attendance.
