Susan,

David and I saw several RN Grebes yesterday in the Hansville area (Kitsap Co)) from Foulweather Bluff, along with a breeding plumaged Common Loon and 2 flocks of Surf Scoters. Looks like some of the northern birds are returning to Puget Sound.

Hi,

I am a little late with this, but a week ago I observed seven Red-necked Grebe at Dungeness Spit. I am wondering if others are seeing this species or the Horned Grebe?
