We got your name and email address from Birding Pal saying that you would be interested in taking visitors out on a birding expedition there in Seattle area. We recently read an article, "Birding on Budgeted Time in Seattle," by Brendan McGarry, published in the March 2106, Birder's Guide. After reading the article we got very excited about seeing the birds of Seattle and are just now able to act on seeing the birds in your "neck of the woods." Several places in the article were highlighted: Myrtle Edwards Park, Alki and West Seattle waterfront, Lincoln Park, Seward Park, Interlaken Park, Discovery Park and Union Bay Natural Area. The birds we are interested in seeing are: "sooty" Fox Sparrow, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Surfbirds, Black Turnstones, Golden-crowned Sparrow, Ancient Murrelet, Pacific Wrens, Western and Clarks' Grebes, and Band-tailed Pigeons. Of course, we are interested in seeing any of the Seattle birds. The emboldened species would be "lifers" for us.

We would of course pay the gas and buy you a meal or two, depending on the time you choose to give us. We intend to rent a car as well.
