This AM at the Asotin County Regional Landfill, I relocated the Lesser Black-backed Gulls first found earlier this week by Scott O'Donnell;There are indeed two adult birds among the many RB, California and Herring Gulls.Now annual in small numbers, they were first seen in Washington in 2000 and in Asotin County in 2002.The landfill is closed Sundays, but open and welcoming to birders 0800 to 1600 the rest of the week.photo at:https://www.flickr.com/photos/birddog/45321282145/in/dateposted-public/Keith E CarlsonLewiston
