hey everyone,

i just published my list of best biology books of 2017. Basically, of all
the "best of 2017" book lists i'm working on, truly, 2017 was THE BIG YEAR
for biology books, so my "best of" list may be useful, especially because
you'll be faced with so many choices! In recognition of the astonishing
quality of biology books available this year, I have noted two that are
"essential reading" for everyone -- one written by an ornithologist!
