I'm so sorry to read about what happened to these two birders. My husband and I know from personal experience that the birding community is not immune from various forms of bigotry. Seeing that some folks here have spoken out against hatred is a hopeful sign.

May we continue to open our hearts and minds as we enjoy the beautiful pastime of birding.
