Subject: [Tweeters] Some quick Kent birding

Hi Tweeters,

I briefly birded 3 locations in Kent on my way back from work this
afternoon. My first stop was at Frager Rd. N. I hadn't been there in a
year or so and was disappointed to see a couple of No Trespassing signs,
apparently disallowing entrance to the gravel path around the ponds. This
means that I could only partially see the first pond and very little else.
I feel that the birding locations in South King County are gradually being
squeezed out.

My second stop was at the 212th St ponds. The most notable birds were an
A. BITTERN, a heard only VIRGINIA RAIL, and a COOPER'S HAWK.

My final stop was at Boeing Ponds, I couldn't find the reported Green
Heron, but there was a very ratty-looking COOPER'S HAWK and 5 RUDDY DUCKS
as well as a number of the expected species for this time of year.

Good birding,
