Subject: [Tweeters] Birds feeding at Edmonds pier

Hello Tweeters,

Yesterday Bill went down to Edmonds pier and happened to be there at high tide while there were a number of cormorants and grebes feeding. I put some of these pictures on Flickr. I believe the eel-like fish are gunnels, but there are two different colors of these fish. Then there is some really spiny fish. Does any bottom fish aficionado know if that's a sculpin the DC Cormorant is eating?

The pictures in question are the first seven or eight in the album. Beyond that you are into general pictures at or near the Edmonds waterfront.

Happy birding, Charlotte Byers, Edmonds
