About noon today there was a Barn Swallow cruising the waterfront on Alki
in West Seattle.

Yesterday 1/9 I heard my first Song Sparrow song, and an Anna's Hummingbird
male was making those diving tail chirps on 12/31 to end 2017 with some
courtship moves.
