Four Zonos in a 3 sparrow radius:
In early 2015 a Harris's Sparrow photobombed while I was taking a picture
of a White-throated Sparrow with White-crowned & Golden-crowned Sparrows at
the Poppoff sparrow patch. It's a rather poor photo, but was fun to get.

As for RULES: 640 mm equivalent lens at about 12' (4 Zonos in about a 3
sparrow radius); we do scatter seed here; I didn't use playback (relatively
heavily birded spot; rare visitors -- https://www.aba.org/about/ethics.html
= real rules, albeit honor system); and the rarities happen to be
individuals I'd found. No chumming.

The Poppoff sparrow patch is near the southern end of the Yakima Greenway
Path, near the Yakima River, due east of the Yakima Airport. There's a
precise map link under my Flickr photo.

As during recent winters, a Harris's Sparrow is here, and this year we've
also hosted a "Red" Fox Sparrow, both continuing since at least November. I
found a White-throated close by in October. For several winters I've found
several White-throated Sparrows here on extended visits. White-crowned and
Golden-crowned are common. I put the patch here because it was the first
place I found a pair of White-throated Sparrows.

Good Birding,
