If anybody needs more swans, we saw 10's of thousands of them yesterday. They are scattered far & wide between the Conway exit (west off of I-5) and La Conner. There are some excellent observation places, as well as lots of places too busy for that. I went looking for some pictures to add to my collection. But, of course, the sun was always placed so that the birds were hard to "see".

Take care and be well all,

I saw a pair of swans on the upper part of Capitol Lake in Olympia this afternoon. They were on the far shore from Deschutes Pkwy SW and seen with 10X42 binoculars, I was unable to ID them. They appeared to be Tundra Swans, but size is very deceiving. Has anybody seen them in a scope and got a positive ID? I would appreciate a reply to my below e-mail or to this forum.

Thank you!

Hans
