I hoped to get two lifers for myself today but struck out on both. As I was
walking into Harborview Park in Marysville I encountered another birder
exiting; he was also there for the Bohemian Waxwings and didn't find them.
What I did see were lots of American Widgeon, Green-winged Teal, Bufflehead,
Mallard, Pintail, Lesser Scaup, and Canadian Geese. One each of Anna's
Hummingbird, House Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Kinglet, Common Merganser, and
Northern Harrier. There are still plenty of berries available for waxwings.

Moving on to Fobes road in hopes of seeing WW Crossbills, I walked the dyke
till I got rained out and didn't see a single bird of any species save an
eagle soaring high overhead.

Both of these locations have lots of space for the birds to go which are not
easily accessible so they might still be there.
