This afternoon the usual Killdeers in the Edmonds marsh were accompanied by a lone Wilson's Snipe. The continuing three Surfbirds and two Black Turnstones appeared again on the marina's north breakwater, seen well from the south end of the public pier. Then a flock of about 60 Dunlins flew in tight formation off of Sunset Avenue. All in all, a good shorebird afternoon.
