Subject: [Tweeters] Re: Tangletown Backyard Rose-breasted Grosbeak update (no)

I think I may have tested fate with my last tweeters update, because since
that day(1/13), the grosbeak has not been seen at or around the feeder. We
have had plenty of visitors looking for him, and I spent most of today
watching the feeders for him, but no luck.

These 4 days would be his longest absence, if he returned. I get the
feeling he is gone, and I hope he has found a new and better habitat to
sustain himself through the winter. Thanks to all of the kind birders who
came by and said hello, whether they saw the bird or not.

Happy birding,
Max Kingsbury
