hello everyone,

i just published a piece about a paper that was published a little while
ago. This paper examines whether Harry Potter drove an increased demand for
pet owls in the UK. Although this is the same question posed by a different
team of researchers (whose research i shared about six months ago) after
they'd poked around the bird markets of indonesia, it really is a vastly
different sort of thing, for a variety of reasons.

twitter.
