Subject: [Tweeters] Bird on Baker

Hi all,
A friend of mine summited Mt. Baker this past weekend. At the summit point
(10781ft), his group found fresh bird tracks. Regretfully, no one took a
picture. He described them as identical in shape to Great Blue Heron, but
2/3 the size. I asked if maybe it was trekking poles or such, but he was
convinced it wasn't - he said the tracks were "in a line for a while moving
around." My first thought would be Green Heron - but what an odd location!
Any ideas?
