Hey All,
This morning I covered a good portion of the pierce county, from Alderton
to Ohop Valley. There were many highlights, one of them being a male INDIGO
X LAZULI BUNTING in orting. It was in the fields next to the Red-eyed Vireo
spot (there were six present) on the Puyallup river that is accessable from
the end of 178th avenue. Exciting find even if it isn't a state tick! See
the ebird checklist for photos and exact location.
The other main highlight was a heard only YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT in Ohop
Valley. It was present on the west side of southern bridge on Peterson rd. See
the ebird checklist for a recording and exact location.
